Case study — Properix · Product Design · 2026

Designing for the people who live in the product.

Properix runs condominium management across LATAM. Its heaviest users, administrators and accountants, spend their whole day inside it. When their workflow breaks, they leave. So I went to them first.

Screens are under NDA, so this case is told through decisions, not pixels.
[01] / The challenge

Where keeping and buying get decided.

Accounting is where administrators decide whether Properix is worth keeping, and where prospects decide whether to buy. Interviews with heavy users surfaced two problems.

01

There was no general ledger ready to file with the DIAN, Colombia's tax authority.

02

Downloadable reports were hard to read.

[02] / Four pillars

One word each.

01Research

Listen

Interviewed heavy users on the administration side to find where their day breaks.

02Reports

Clarity

Redesigned reports so downloadable files read clearly at a glance.

03Navigation

Pathways

New navigation for accountants, with access to reports that were missing, like the general ledger.

FIGMA BROWSER

Integration

Connected Figma to the live platform in the browser to build components and flows in a fraction of the time.

[03] / What I designed

Three things that weren't there before.

[04] / AI in my workflow

Real UI in, hours out.

I connected Figma to the browser where the live platform runs. Instead of rebuilding screens by hand, I bring real UI into components and flows, turning long production stretches into short ones.

[05] / Outcome

Better retention.
Good feedback.
